Reading and exploring
Public learning resources require no visitor account. NICU Hearts has no advertising, analytics scripts, or newsletter sign-up. The private editorial workspace requires the site owner to sign in with ChatGPT. Searching, filtering, the event calendar, research filters, the starting-point finder, and reading controls work in your browser. Your choices are not sent to a server or saved in browser storage.
The hosting provider may process standard connection information to deliver and protect the website. Fonts, icons, and images are served with the site. External websites have their own privacy practices.
Contributing an idea
The contribution form sends your selected category, title, source link, message, and optional follow-up email to a private editorial queue hosted with the site. Nothing is automatically posted publicly. The site owner can review, update the editorial status, or remove a submission. Include your reference in a correction request if you want a submission removed. Do not send patient, family, or confidential workplace information. No attachments are accepted.
Temporary salted address digests and counts may be used to limit abusive submissions; the raw address is not stored in the editorial queue. The hosting provider may independently process connection information. These limits do not track your browsing.
Your worksheets stay with you
NICU Hearts does not receive or store anything you write on the downloadable PDFs or the improvement planner. Planner entries stay in the current page until you leave and are not saved automatically; print or download your own copy. Keep notes about your own learning and leave out patient, family, and other confidential information.
Share with care
You are welcome to print and share NICU Hearts guides and worksheets for personal learning or informal teaching, with attribution to NICU Hearts. Link to the original site so others can find the current version. Third-party resources remain subject to their owners’ terms.
Images and editorial content
Site imagery is illustrative and AI-generated. It does not depict Jenny, an actual patient, or a specific clinical encounter. The guides and research briefs are AI-assisted editorial resources for professional learning and reflection. Research briefs link to their sources and distinguish data from editorial interpretations. Items show their review status; no clinical review is implied unless a reviewer, date, and scope are actually listed. See the editorial policy for the source, review, and correction process.
The purpose of this site
These resources are not clinical protocols, patient-specific advice, accredited continuing education, or a substitute for workplace education, supervision, or clinical guidance.
